CHALLENGE

Facebook’s Artist in Residence Program aims to curate pieces that activate their corporate offices and encourage innovation.

SOLUTION

 

"All of It" stokes creativity, and interrupts daily routines in the Meta corporate offices. The project had few limitations so I chose to explore a common theme that is potent for me personally. Throughout my life, I felt like I had many disparate parts that opposed each other. As a nonbinary person, I had to unlearn what felt like contradictions so that I could celebrate the interwoven multitudes I contained. Liberation comes from holding space for that complexity and being curious about ourselves and others. I'm urging the audience to be inspired and excited by the countless ways we are connected. This applies as a community and as individual beings struggling to feel like all their parts create a whole.
